Video Response For Teen Behavior Documentary

First of all I would like to restate how analytic and helpful this video was. Besides describing how and why teenagers behave in such an indescribable way, we observed several deep analyses, which indicated the brain’s functional system and how it complex its development is. I learned that in the first six years of life the human brain grows up to 95% of its complete size. Although, I had already noticed it from personal experience, the professionals described the struggle that we go through on making the right decisions. This is definitely one aspect that makes the teenage psychology so interesting, however harder to understand. The authors of this fascinating documentary took us from the most general view of teen’s daily life, all the way to the smallest details on their familiar life. Another outstanding fact that I learned was the difficulty and inaccuracy that  teenagers have on detecting the reality of an aspect, and how our inexpert and inexperienced way of thinking can drive us away from the actual truth. This is primarily due to the different brain parts we use in relation to adults, while judging a particular situation or person. To conclude, the world of psychology contains so many aspects and concepts yet to be learned, and it is a privilege to now be able to comprehend the teenager’s so called “misunderstood” behavior.
